Jeffrey P. Greer
Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Greer is the Managing Member, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of SON-AERO. Under his leadership since 2015, SON-AERO has been transformed from a struggling business into a thriving aerospace manufacturer, resiliently navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 years and emerging stronger than ever.

With more than three decades of experience in finance and executive leadership, Jeff is recognized for his ability to drive growth, implement strategic turnarounds, and build high-performing organizations. Prior to SON-AERO, he served as a partner at Ronald Blue & Co. LLC, where he launched and led the Management Advisory Services Departments, advising business leaders nationwide.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Vanguard University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. His vision continues to guide SON-AERO's commitment to excellence, innovation, and long-term success in the aerospace industry.
Kent Andersson
Chief Operating Officer
Kent Andersson is an accomplished manufacturing executive and entrepreneur with over two decades of leadership experience across multiple industries. Originally from Sweden, Kent began his career in manufacturing before moving to the U.S., where he founded and led Tree Crowns Furniture, a high-end mission-style furniture company with operations in Riverside, California, and a Maquiladora facility in Ensenada, Mexico.

In 2008, Kent brought his expertise in business development and operational excellence to Sonfarrel Inc., working closely with Tier 1 aerospace customers. A decade later, he played a key role in the acquisition and transformation of the company, helping launch Sonfarrel Aerospace LLC, now SON-AERO. As Chief Operating Officer, Kent leads all aspects of operations, guiding the company’s growth, process improvements, and long-term strategic direction.

Known for his hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial mindset, Kent is passionate about building strong teams and delivering value to customers across the aerospace sector.
​
He lives in Anaheim Hills, California, with his wife Christel and their two children.
Susan Ballantyne
Controller
Sue Ballantyne is the controller at SON-AERO and joined the team in 2019.
​
Sue is a CPA with over 20 years of work experience in public accounting and the aerospace industry. Sue started her career at Ford Aerospace and worked in several different positions in the accounting department. She spent most of her time in cost accounting and oversaw the cost accounting unit. As a public accountant, Sue focused on providing excellent client service in both tax and accounting for high-net worth individuals and their businesses. At SON-AERO, Sue enjoys training her employees and bettering processes and procedures.

Sue is married and resides in Orange County with her family.
Dave Dalton
Engineering Manager
Dave Dalton is the Engineering Manager at SON-AERO. Dave joined the team in 2016 and has played a major role in establishing & refining processes and procedures that currently drive our business. A mechanical engineer by trade with over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing and design field, he’s worked for such organizations as Syn-Aps & BE Aerospace.

Dave moved from England to the U.S. in 1990, after completing a full engineering apprenticeship. Spending the early years of his career as an engineering lead and manager helped transition him to pursue a footprint in the aerospace industry. He quickly realized that his early experience helped him implement structure, efficiency and quality into his work ethic.​
Alberto Silva
Plant Manager
With over two decades of dedicated service at SON-AERO, Alberto Silva brings more than 21 years of experience in manufacturing leadership to his role as Plant Manager. Alberto is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, cross-departmental coordination, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. His strategic oversight ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and high product quality across the company’s manufacturing departments.

Alberto is widely recognized for his collaborative leadership style, ability to unite cross-functional teams, and a strong commitment to fostering a family-oriented workplace culture. His approach has been instrumental in building a resilient and motivated workforce that drives operational success.
​
Based in Placentia, California, Alberto is deeply rooted in his community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and is an active youth soccer coach, leading a local club team and mentoring young athletes both on and off the field.
Gary Oria
Sales Director
Gary Oria is the Sales Director at SON-AERO, where he drives the company’s efforts to grow strategic customer relationships, increase market share, and strengthen brand presence in the aerospace and defense industries. With over 20 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, Gary brings a strong blend of technical expertise and customer-focused strategy to his role.

Prior to joining SON-AERO, Gary held leadership positions as product marketing director, program management, sales and business development at several well-regarded aerospace and industrial firms. His diverse background enables him to connect complex technical capabilities with customer needs, ensuring high-performance solutions and long-term partnerships.
​
Gary earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in Chicago and completed two years at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (MBA Program). Outside of work, he enjoys golfing nearly every weekend.
Mario Gonzalez
Quality Manager
Mario Gonzalez brings over 18 years of experience in aerospace quality control, with a strong track record of driving compliance, continuous improvement, and team development. As Quality Manager at SON-AERO, Mario oversees the company’s Quality Management System, ensuring full compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards, as well as meeting all customer and regulatory requirements. He also leads the Rubber Lab operations and manages a team of 10 quality professionals.
​
Mario began his journey with SON-AERO in 2017 as a Quality Engineer and returned in a leadership role after gaining additional industry experience. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to fostering a culture of quality, transparency, and accountability. His leadership style emphasizes open communication and a positive mindset, which has helped strengthen internal audit processes and pass multiple regulatory, third-party, and customer audits — including FAA, ISO9001, and AS9100 assessments.
​
Outside of work, Mario lives in Cerritos, California, with his spouse and two teenage children. A proud father of four, he prioritizes family and enjoys hiking, jogging, and staying active.
